About Isles Bocce

Isles Bocce is a resident-run organization within The Isles

The Goal  To foster, encourage and promote the sport of Bocce as a recreational and social activity for the residents of The Isles of Collier Preserve.

The Inspiration  We were inspired and motivated to spread the bocce vibe within the Isles because we wanted our courts to be continuously active with fun-loving and competitive Isles bocce players.

The Results  The first Isles Bocce league was formed and launched in the Fall of 2022 with both first time players and experienced players.  Less than a year later, the bocce interest and involvement from Isles residents has exploded!  Today, we have over 300 Isles Bocce followers, 160 active players and substitutes, and 40 teams playing in 5 leagues in each of our Fall, Winter and Spring bocce leagues!

Isles Bocce is indeed alive and well in the Isles!  There's a growing addiction of fun and a lot of bocce camaraderie.

"Bocce Brings People Together!"

The Isles Bocce Committee makes it happen...

Today Isles Bocce offers organized fall, winter and spring bocce leagues.  And during the summer we've tamed it down to periodic 1-day bocce tournaments/events.

Isles Bocce takes much planning and organizing to ensure leagues are created and managed properly, and that all players experience a great time.  `

Managing and operating leagues include (but not limited to):

  • Playing format and rules

  • Establish league dates

  • Team/Player registration

  • Team roster/court play and rotations

  • Scoring and ranking system

  • League coordination and refereeing

  • Court maintenance and equipment

  • Decisions/planning for future Bocce amenity improvements

The Committee

The Isles Bocce Resident Committee maintains the bocce momentum that was created by continuously offering organized open play, leagues and events.  The committee is also the focal point and interface to the HOA for maintaining the Isles bocce facilities, equipment and future needs of the facilities.  The Isles Bocce committee is the conduit between the Isles residents and our HOA for everything bocce.

If Isles residents have questions or comments about Isles Bocce, we encourage them to contact the committee by using the CONTACT form on this website.
